The Inn at the Spanish Steps
The Spanish Steps have inspired visitors for centuries: Byron, Liszt, Goethe, Wagner met at the famous Caffé Greco; Keats died in the house across the square; Hans Christian Andersen lived in the house next door to the Caffé Greco now known as The Inn at the Spanish Steps. The inn is on Via dei Condotti, famous for stores like Armani, Bulgari, Cartier, Ferragamo, Hermés and Prada to name drop but a few. A discreet entrance keeps it as one of Rome's best-kept secrets. It has every modern comfort with bathrooms as glamorous as they come (some with a Jacuzzi).
The period elegance of the rooms is dramatised by gorgeous fabrics, antique furnishings and frescoed or beamed ceilings; some have balconies.
