The Palais Briau was built in 1854 by François Briau. It is set in a beautiful terraced park looking out to the Abbey of St Florent-le-Vieil (XVIIth century). During the winter, the floodings create a huge lake at the foot of the palace. The natural park of the Palais Briau is a place to observe the birds of the Loire.
