The Inn at the Roman Forum is a luxury Rome hotel in a remarkable position beside one of Rome's most famous sites. The Roman Forum ranks amongst the most treasured ruins in the world. In the second century BC, it became the administrative centre of the Roman Empire. As you ascend for a better view from the Capitoline Hill, you will pass the Inn at the Roman Forum which is actually built over this inestimable treasure. On entering, a passage leads to a cryptoporticus, a stone gallery with carved figures set into the 2000-year old walls. It is a flight through the millennia that will not fail to move you.

The Inn at the Roman Forum, despite its historic significance, is appointed strictly for 21st-century indulgence and provides every luxurious amenity. The 11 rooms and two suites are classically designed and built on three floors with the topmost offering a lounge and terrace where breakfast is served and from which you get an exclusive panorama over the cupolas and tiled roofs to the Palatine, home of Emperors. The final surprise is the three back bedrooms, on the terrace, that open out onto a small garden of fig trees and palms. Delightful!

The Inn at the Roman Forum is in the heart of Rome in a green space overlooking Palatine Hill, around the corner from the Roman Forum. It is the only luxury hotel in Rome that can boast the presence of a piece of the Roman Forum on the premises. With pleasant gardens, private access to the Roman Forum and in easy reach of the Colosseum it is ideally placed for history lovers. However, its location on Via degli Ibernesi also makes it very convenient for many other attractions including boutique shopping, the Borghese Gallery and central Rome.
