Enfrente Arte : a different hotel …..
The hotel is located in one of the oldest parts of Ronda, at only a five-minute walk from the city centre. It’s situated in an old paved street, surrounded by Arab, Renascence and Roman monuments like the Arab baths, the Roman bridge and the famous fountains called “ocho caños”.
In our hotel one can find privacy as well as a taste of true Spanish “color local”, without unnecessary restricting rules or time schedules.
The hotel provides a swimming pool, a sauna, a games room with pool table, a computer with internet, a television room, a library, a self-service bar open 24 hours a day, a garden and some Arab “patios”. In our subtropical garden people will find their selves surrounded by exotic plants, birds, amphibians and a splendid aquarium .
At the backside, the hotel faces the natural park “Sierra de las Nieves” and the river “Guadalvin which streams through Ronda’s amazing cliffs. From our terraces you can also observe the renowned horse riding school “Maestranza de Ronda”. In the near future a multifunctional and modern sport complex will open its doors in the same valley.
Enfrente Arte has also carried out various productions like television programs, movies, video clips, recording sessions and seminaries.

Our personal favorite was the Enfrente Arte in Ronda. It was truly a delightful place. Had they not been fully booked for the rest of our trip, we would have gladly cancelled all and stayed there the rest of our time in Spain. It was lovely- the photos and comments on the website do not do it justice. It was romantic- there were at least 6 private little courtyard/terrace areas to sip wine and daydream. It had a friendly, happy staff and the amenities were wonderful- including a fully-stocked, help yourself bar available gratis all day long (beer on tap even), a sauna, a small pool wth a waterfall, a game room with Internet access, a very spacious room with a balcony with chairs and table to enjoy the spectacular view, and a refrigerated case of gourmet foods also available all day. It was also easy walking distance from everything- 5 or ten minutes from the sights. Definitely a place we will return for a holiday in the future.
